Install from the Shopify App Store
Search for EZBundle in the App Store and click Install. Approve the requested permissions — EZBundle needs access to create discount codes and register a script on your storefront.

Widget auto-installs on your store
On your first visit to the EZBundle dashboard, the bundle widget is automatically installed across all your product pages. No theme editor steps required. You'll see a confirmation in the dashboard sidebar.
The widget only displays when an active bundle matches the product being viewed. It silently does nothing on pages with no matching bundle.

Create and activate your first bundle
Click Create bundle in the dashboard. Fill in the details, set your discount, and click Save & Activate. The bundle appears live on your product pages immediately.

Choose a bundle type
Select Fixed bundle to pair specific products at a set discount, or Mix & Match to let customers pick any items from a collection.

Add a title and description
The title and description appear directly on the widget. A clear value proposition like "Winter Bundle — save 20%" increases add-to-cart rates.

Set your discount
Choose Percentage off (e.g. 15%) or Fixed amount off (e.g. $20 off). The Bundle Optimizer in the sidebar gives real-time suggestions on the ideal discount range.
Discounts between 5–25% consistently outperform deeper discounts for bundle add-to-cart rate. The optimizer flags anything outside this range.

Add products (Fixed) or a collection (Mix & Match)
For fixed bundles, click Add products to open the Shopify product picker. For mix & match, click Choose collection to select the collection customers will pick from.

Save & Activate
Click Save & Activate to make the bundle live. EZBundle automatically creates a Shopify discount code and wires it to the widget. The bundle appears on your product pages within seconds.
After activating, visit the product page on your storefront to see the bundle widget in action.

The widget auto-detects product pages and shows the matching bundle — no setup required.

Auto-detection
When a customer visits a product page, the widget script checks if an active bundle includes that product. If a match is found, the bundle widget appears below the add-to-cart button automatically.

Customer adds the bundle
The customer clicks Add Bundle to Cart. All bundle items are added in a single click. For mix & match, they select their items first, then add.

Discount applies automatically at checkout
After adding to cart, the customer is taken to the cart page with the bundle discount code pre-applied. The discounted total shows before checkout — no manual code entry needed.

Fixed Bundle Free
A curated set of specific products sold together at a discount.

Select Fixed bundle as the type.

Click Add products and select 2 or more products from the Shopify picker. Add quantities per item as needed.

Set a Percentage off or Fixed amount off discount.

Click Save & Activate. The widget appears on every product page that contains one of the bundle's products.

Mix & Match Bundle Starter
Customers pick any items from a collection to build their own bundle and unlock a discount.

Select Mix & Match as the type.

Click Choose collection and select the Shopify collection customers will pick from.

Set Min items (minimum to unlock discount) and Max items (maximum allowed).

Set your discount and click Save & Activate. The widget appears on all product pages in your store.

Mix & Match bundles appear on all product pages. The widget shows all products in the selected collection so customers can browse and pick directly from the product page.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about bundles, discounts, and billing.
First, make sure the bundle status is Active (not Draft) in your dashboard. For fixed bundles, the widget only shows on pages for products that are included in the bundle. For mix & match, the widget shows on all product pages. If the widget still doesn't appear, visit your dashboard once — this triggers the widget script to re-register on your store.
Try deactivating the bundle and reactivating it. This recreates the Shopify discount code fresh. The discount is applied automatically when customers add the bundle — they're redirected to the cart with the code pre-applied. If the problem continues, contact support with your bundle ID and we'll investigate.
Yes. The Free plan allows 1 active bundle, Starter allows 5, and Growth allows unlimited. If a product belongs to multiple active bundles, the first matching bundle is shown. Upgrade to Starter or Growth for more concurrent bundles.
Yes. EZBundle uses a ScriptTag (not a Theme App Block), so it works with any Shopify theme — both Online Store 2.0 and older themes. The widget injects itself after the add-to-cart form automatically and matches your store's font family.
You get full access to your chosen plan for 7 days at no charge. After 7 days, you're automatically billed at your plan rate. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged. No credit card is required to start a trial.
Yes. Click any bundle from the Manage Bundles page to edit it. When you save changes to an active bundle, EZBundle automatically recreates the Shopify discount code to match your updated settings. The widget updates immediately.
When you uninstall, the widget script is removed from all pages, all active discount codes are deleted from your Shopify store, and your bundle data is cleared. Your store returns to its original state with no leftover code or scripts.
Yes — go to EZBundle → Plans and click "Cancel subscription." You keep access until the end of your billing period. You can also manage this from Shopify admin under Settings → Apps → EZBundle.
