Extensions Market is a one-person indie studio building Chrome extensions and Shopify apps. Every tool started as a problem I ran into myself and couldn't find a good solution for.
I built MapLeads first. I was doing cold outreach and spending hours copying business names, phone numbers, and websites from Google Maps into a spreadsheet by hand. It was the kind of tedious work that felt like it should already be automated — and it wasn't. So I built a Chrome extension to do it in one click, used it for my own prospecting, and eventually published it.
Then AirPrice. I had an Airbnb listing and was pricing it by gut feel — occasionally checking what nearby listings charged, making rough mental comparisons. That's a bad way to price anything. I wanted a tool that would pull comparable listings, compute an optimal rate, and show it alongside every listing I looked at. That became AirPrice.
The pattern kept repeating: a concrete problem, no great existing tool, so I built it. STRInvest came from analyzing whether a property was worth buying for short-term rental — a calculation that took me 45 minutes in a spreadsheet every time. HomePilot came from buying a house and realizing Zillow's estimates don't account for HOA, PMI, maintenance, or closing costs. CarWise came from buying a used car and wishing VIN lookup, safety ratings, and market value were all in one place instead of across five separate websites.
The Shopify apps — EZDrop, EZStock, PopBoost, EZBundle, Sleepmaxing — came from merchants who needed tools that either didn't exist or existed only as expensive, feature-bloated platforms. EZDrop for product drops and viral waitlists. EZStock as the replacement for Shopify Stocky after it was retired. PopBoost for conversion widgets at a price that doesn't require five separate app subscriptions. EZBundle for product bundles that actually sync inventory. Sleepmaxing for sleep brands that want a quiz-powered bundle experience.
None of these tools are going to win design awards. They're built to do one job and do it well, by someone who uses them himself.
What I believe about software tools
🎯
One job, done exceptionally
I don't build platforms. I build tools. Each extension does one thing and does it better than anything else available.
🔒
Privacy by default
Your data is yours. I only request the permissions each extension actually needs and I never sell user data to third parties.
🛠️
Actively maintained
When websites change, I ship fixes. These aren't abandoned projects — they're tools I rely on myself.
