Shopify app studioSix apps liveSolo, senior dev

The Shopify app you can't find, built in a week.

A solo studio run by the developer behind six live App Store apps. You pick a build, get a flat price, and it's running in your store in seven days. No agency overhead, no discovery calls.

The gap

The App Store has 13,000 apps. None of them do the one thing your store needs.

Every merchant hits the same wall: a workflow that's specific to how you run your store, and no off-the-shelf app that fits. The usual options are an agency that wants a discovery call and a five-figure retainer, or a freelancer you can't vet. Badly Creative is the third option: one senior developer, a fixed price, and a build in your store within the week.

How it works

Three steps, one week.

01 / Pick

Pick a build

Choose one off the menu, or describe the workflow you need. You get a flat quote and a written scope (what's in, what's out) before anything starts.

02 / Build

I build it

50% deposit and I start. You get the working app on a development store to test against your real products, not a slide deck.

03 / Ship

Live in your store

Final 50% on delivery, then it's installed and running in your store, usually inside seven days of the deposit.

You describe the app. You get a price and a date. Seven days later it's live in your store.

Why this and not an agency

Fixed price. Fixed scope. One developer who's shipped this before.

A flat price, not an hourly meter

You know the number before you say yes. No surprise invoices, no scope that quietly grows into a retainer.

No discovery calls

You've already described the problem in a sentence. That's enough to quote. The first call, if any, is the kickoff.

Built by the person you hired

No account manager, no offshore hand-off. The developer behind six live apps writes your code.

A week, not a quarter

Front-door builds ship in days. Bigger custom work gets its own honest timeline, never padded to bill more.

Questions

Straight answers.

What if my build isn't on the menu?

The menu is the common cases. Describe what you need and you'll get a flat quote for it. Most custom Shopify work fits one of these shapes (an automation, a discount rule, or a private admin tool) and prices in the same ranges.

Is this a public App Store app or a private one?

Either. Most front-door builds are custom apps installed only on your store, which skip App Store review and ship faster. If you want a public listing, that's the larger custom track and gets its own quote.

How does payment work?

50% to start, 50% on delivery, by card. Fixed scope is written down first, so both sides know exactly what "done" means.

What counts as one week?

Seven days from the deposit for the front-door builds. Larger custom apps get a real timeline up front: a date you can hold me to, not an estimate that slips.

Do you also build themes or set up stores?

No. This is app and custom-code work only: the logic Shopify and its apps can't do. Theme and store-setup work is a different craft, and there are people better suited to it.

Tell me the app you can't find.

One sentence about the workflow you need. You'll get a flat price and a delivery date back, not a discovery call.
